Nick Neuhaus is a maker of amazing bicycles and the name behind the meticulous custom bike brand Neuhaus Metalworks. We caught up with him at this year’s MADE Show. And, he let us get a glimpse of a new bike. To help bring Neuhaus Metalworks to more riders, they’re releasing a Taiwanese-made production “Yet to be Named” (YTBN) Hardtail for 2025.
Neuhaus Metalworks is renowned for its custom frame offerings. The new YTBN will be designed in Marin, California, and made in Taiwan by one of the industry’s top factories. Using a refined version of their “Full Spectrum” sizing, they created 5 different sizes for production. All of the sizes maintain their “leisure fit” geo.
Mark says, “This means that the stack height scales proportionately with each frame size so riders of all sizes end up on a great-fitting bike with room to adjust based on saddle and bare placement preferences.”
Just like the current Neuhaus Metalworks Hummingbird, the YTBN will maintain the 29 x 2.6″ tire clearance. It will also come standard with sliding dropouts, spec’d with size-specific tubing, maintaining comfy and consistent ride quality. It will also be UDH/T-type compatible.
Pricing is not yet available for the YTBN as of this writing. But, Nick said that their goal is to try to hit a lower price point. This, in hopes “to make the most advanced hardtail more accessible“.
Neuhaus Metalworks will continue to produce all of its titanium bikes. Along with the steel Hummingbird and Solstice in the USA. For those looking for customization that won’t be offered in the new bike, check out the link below.
